I chose Michael Shindler's work because technically, he takes very beautiful photographs of people, with a shallow depth of field. He's also very well versed in the tintype process. I chose the tintype because I think it's awesome to have a photograph on a plate, and I also am interested in the fact that there is no negative used, so the photograph taken cannot be duplicated. I love the color and aged look that the tintype process brings to photographs, as well.
